CFL Alumnus Trevor Hoilett Passes

TREVOR OLIVER HOILETT
April 20, 1965 – February 23, 2020

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Trevor on February 23, 2020.

Trevor was predeceased by his parents, Keith and Mary Hoilett.
Left to mourn are his wife Tracy, children, Jalen, London and Mia, brother Rupert, Auntie Lydia (Arthur), Uncle David, father and mother-in-law, Gary and Bonita, and numerous cousins and close friends.

Trevor was a gifted athlete. He excelled in hockey, basketball, football and track. He played hockey for the Selkirk Steelers, basketball for the University of Manitoba Bisons, and football for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Trevor’s children were his pride and joy. He loved watching them excel in their own sports and offered many words of encouragement.

Trevor worked for the Province of Manitoba and developed close friendships with many of his co-workers. He was an easy going guy who could make people laugh and often offered colourful commentary standing at the glass with the other dads. Beneath his 6’3″ muscular exterior laid a heart of gold.

We wish to thank all of Trevor’s close friends and co-workers that showed him such love and compassion. It means the world to us. Thank you to our close friends and hockey families that are doing the same for us right now.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
