In Loving Memory of
James GORDON Brown
June 4, 1942 – April 20, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Brown, after a long fight with Parkinson’s. Born in 1942 in Winnipeg, Gordon excelled as a football player. He attended Shattuck – St. Mary’s school in Minnesota, the University of Oklahoma, and then returned to Winnipeg to play for the Blue Bombers.
In 1968, Gordon married his childhood neighbor Bonnie Grant, and they remained married for an incredible 55 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by Bonnie, and his children, James (Tara) and Trisha. Grandchildren Carson and Cassandra.
