CFL Alumnus Dimitrious Stanley Passes

Former CFL wide receiver Dimitrious Stanley has passed away after a battle with prostate cancer. This information was first reported on February 9th, he was 48. Stanley played for Ohio State and was a four-year player from 1993-1996. He had his best season in 1996 when he recorded over 800 yards on 43 receptions and 8 touchdowns. After college, he went undrafted and attempted to sign with the Dolphins in 1997, but eventually made the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL. He then spent two seasons in the Arena Football League with the New Jersey Red Dogs in 1999-2000.
