CFL Alumnus Campbell Millar Passes

OBITUARY OF CAMPBELL MILLAR

Campbell (Cam) MILLAR September 9, 1927 – July 9, 2020 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Campbell Millar on July 10,2020 at the age of 92. Cam was born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba; son of Campbell and Janet Millar, brother of Elizabeth Frederickson and Jack Millar, father of Campbell Millar, Ross Millar and Janet Boger, predeceased by second wife Eileen Haye. In his early years, Cam was an accomplished athlete in Winnipeg; Kelvin High School Football Champion 1944, Memorial Cup Champion 1946 (Winnipeg Monarchs), Grey Cup Champion (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), Manitoba Jr. Golf Champion 1941, Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame Inductee. Cam had a long career as a lawyer living in Calgary and resided in Vancouver and Orangeville later in life. He lived a full life, had a positive attitude and more importantly, he always treated people fairly, honestly and with respect. He will be greatly missed by friends and family In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Millar Family.
