CFLAA Rings

“The Ring”, a symbol of excellence and commitment. A constant reminder of accomplishment, of hard work, of sacrifice, and above all else, of Oneness.

The Grey Cup Ring has long been viewed as the symbol of excellence in our league. However the reality is that many of us are left without. Not everyone can do what we once did, and that should be celebrated as well.

With the creation of the CFL Alumni Association (CFLAA) , it is time that we had something to bond us together, not as Argonauts and Tiger-Cats, Lions and Allouettes, but as CFL Alumni who have gone through the same situations, spilled the same blood in the same mud.

With that we present to you the CFLAA Ring. A symbol that stands for all of the hard work, sacrifice, commitment, perseverance, success, and excellence that it took for us to be able to call ourselves CFL Alumni.

On the face of the ring will be the CFL Logo, surrounded by Cubic Zirconia, and encircled by the Canadian Football League Alumni Spellout.

On the one shoulder will be your last name and years spent in the CFL with the traditional football helmet and goalposts.

On the other shoulder will be your team affiliation(s), and the CFLAA Logo.

The inside of the band will include engraving for Nicknames, Special Dates, Championships, or Awards.

The details of the Ring Program are as follows:

  1. The ring will be made available to Alumni that meet the qualifications set by the Board of Directors. Qualifications will be provided to me as all orders will flow through me.
  2. The ring will be provided in two different alloys. Our White Lustrium (A blend of Nickel, Chromium, and Palladium; virtually indestructible, and will not tarnish) at a cost of $390 (cdn), and 10K White Gold at a market cost. They are both similar in colour and will easily provide a sense of unity between alums as all rings will be similar. The size of the ring is comparable to that of a quarter on the top of your finger. There will be additional costs for tax and shipping. (Price is subject to increase as the cost of material increases)
  3. Jostens will provide a donation for each ring sold to the CFLAA, payable at the end of the year.
  4. Please send an email to Greg Diamond, Josten’s, with a copy Leo Ezerins, CFL Alumni Association (leo@cflaa.ca).

The CFL, Canadian Football League Alumni Association, and Jostens have worked together to develop the ring as one way to bring all us together as one family.Thank You very much for this exciting opportunity,
