CFL Fans Fight Cancer Meet and Greet Raises Money at Grey Cup

On November 26th, 2016 the CFL Fans Fight Cancer (http://www.cflfansfightcancer.com/) held a meet and greet fundraiser to raise money for the Never Alone Foundation (https://neveralonefoundation.ca/) and Wellspring Canada (https://wellspring.ca/).   The meet and greet was open to all CFL fans across the country.

There were many auction items to bid on and the event was emceed by Toronto Argonauts Alumni Joe Eppele and Jason Pottinger.  The event was held at Shoeless Joes restaurant.   Fans enjoyed great food and drinks, team pep bands and interacting with CFL Alumni Damon Allen, James West, Jeff Boyd, Rob Crifo, Jeff Avery, John Glassford, Jim Cain, Pat Cantner, Ian Mofford, Bob Bronk, Duane Butler, Michael Collymore, Leo Ezerins, Duane Butler and Rick Sowieta.

Through the raffle draws, 50/50, silent auction and on site donations $9640.50 was raised for the Never Alone Foundation and Wellspring Canada.  We are honoured to be part of this event and we thank Jason and Joe for emceeing and all the alumni that came out to support the event.

    It is always a huge inspiration to see people who have lived with personal challenges, reach out to help others. That shows us all that the human spirit is greater than the adversities we face.
