Gerald Roper played eleven seasons in the Canadian Football League as an offensive lineman for two different teams. He was a part of the British Columbia Lions Grey Cup victory in 1985. Gerald joined the Lions during the 1982 season and started three Grey Cup games for the club (1983, 1985, 1988).

Gerald is partners with former team mate Ian Sinclair in the travel business. He is a native of Vancouver where he continues to call home with his family.
